Our experienced orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Tyson Cobb, has dedicated his life to helping patients find relief from arthritis and joint pain. To this end, he has developed some of the most effective minimally invasive surgical techniques available. As a leader in the field of hand and upper extremity surgery, Dr. Cobb was invited to speak at the 16th Annual European Federation of National Associations of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (EFORT) about his latest thumb arthritis treatment.
The event was held in Prague, Czech Republic. Thousands of orthopaedic specialists from 42 countries arrived to review the latest medical treatments, studies, and discoveries in orthopaedic surgery. Dr. Cobb was specifically invited to address the combined symposium for the European Wrist Arthroscopy Society and the Federation of European Societies for Surgery of the Hand (FESSH). During the presentation, he reviewed his research into thumb basal joint arthritis and discussed arthroscopic resection arthroplasty, his innovative, minimally-invasive surgical technique.
Dr. Cobb was honored to participate in the EFORT conference and to have the opportunity to share his ideas, expertise, and experience with some of the finest minds in orthopaedics. He believes these discussions can stimulate development of new, less invasive treatments and educate physicians around the world in how to provide the best patient care possible.
